What’s included and excluded?
This package includes several key items for your trip, including a roundtrip flight departing from Toronto’s YYZ airport, shared accommodation, ground transportation, and select meals. You’ll also have access to a variety of program activities and tickets to various events.
However, there are a few things that are not included in the package, such as travel insurance, which is required before departure, and travel vaccines, which are optional. Additionally, tips, personal expenses, and souvenir or gift shopping are not included. Any expenses incurred outside of the trip, such as personal day tours, upgrades, extra meals, or overweight baggage, are also not included.
Program itinerary
Embark on a 9-day adventure in Istanbul with this itinerary.
Day 1 involves departing from Toronto Pearson International Airport to Istanbul.
On Day 2, you will be welcomed to Istanbul and bond with your team over a meal.
Day 3 consists of a program overview, Taksim square exploration, and dinner.
On Day 4, you will visit refugees and explore Fatih Cami and Souk area.
Day 5 is dedicated to preparing a Teddy Bear Picnic for orphans.
Day 6 includes Eid prayers and a full-day tour of historical sites, palaces, and the Grand Bazaar.
On Day 7, you will spread joy and positivity in the community through the SMILE distribution and visit the aquarium.
Day 8 is a free day to explore Istanbul, while Day 9 marks the end of your journey as you depart back to Toronto.
Program Fee
Early bird price until March 19, 2023 is $2,860.
Regular price after March 19, 2023 is $3,160.
This covers flight, shared accommodation, select meals, ground transportation, and programs activities and tickets.
Payment plan
Early bird payment plan:
First installment: $715 due immediately.
Second installment: $715 due by March 13, 2023.
Third installment: $715 due by April 3, 2023.
Fourth installment: $715 due by May 1, 2023.
Regular payment plan:
First installment: $1,180 due by April 3, 2023.
Second installment: $1,180 due by May 1, 2023.
Program fee policy
The program fee policy for this trip is designed to make the trip more affordable for participants. To achieve this, the policy includes a nonrefundable deposit and three additional installments. The deposit is required to secure a spot on the trip. The three additional installments are due on specific dates, as outlined in the program structure. If a participant fails to pay an installment on the due date, they will be immediately removed from the trip. This is intended to ensure that the cost of the trip is paid in full and that all participants have the necessary funds to participate. The program fee policy also includes a refund policy, which states that the last day to request a refund is May 8th 2023. This means that if a participant decides to withdraw from the trip and wants a refund, they must make their request on or before May 8th 2023. Any refund requests made after this date will not be honored. This policy is in place to ensure that the trip organizers have enough time to make necessary adjustments and to ensure fairness to all participants who have made timely payments.
