Many of us have no idea what it’s like to be thirsty. Faucets are only seconds away, pouring out fresh, clean water to drink from. The rest of the world is not as fortunate. Every year, more people die from drinking dirty, unsafe water than from war.
Human Concern International is building water wells in the driest regions to provide vulnerable communities with a basic right — access to safe, clean drinking water for women, children, and families. A well is more than a source of water, it is the means by which children gain access to education, communities build up economy, and proper sanitation and hygiene is maintained. Help us make an impact in the lives of vulnerable children, and push their communities towards sustainability.
A drop in the ocean. A sea of change.
