“School of Hope” addresses the critical shortage of educational facilities for the 417 school-aged children in Ard Al Amal 3 camp. The current one-story school, with 8 classrooms each accommodating 30 students, serves 240 children. The expansion aims to add a second floor, increasing capacity to 480-500 students, thus providing more children with essential access to formal education. This project will also include catch-up and remedial programs for out-of-school children, addressing both immediate and long-term educational needs.
HCI will implement the project in two phases:
1. Expansion: Adding a second floor to the existing school.
2. Operation: Managing and supporting the expanded facility.
This expansion aims to significantly improve educational access, support children’s rights, and foster a nurturing learning environment.
