Join HCI’s Discover Program and take part in a life-changing experience that combines purposeful travel with hands-on humanitarian work. Participants will fundraise to support those in need, then travel to visit and actively engage in HCI projects on the ground.
This unique opportunity allows community members to witness the impact of their efforts firsthand, while working alongside HCI staff to support sustainable development in underserved regions. Anyone! As long as you are able, anyone is welcome to join. You would have to meet the expected fundraising target to proceed on our trips.
If you have any medical conditions that you believe are important for us to know, it is important that you communicate them as we want to be able to provide you with the best and safest ways to bring an impact in the world!
Of course. With respect to a child and its age, depending on the country we will communicate with you whether it is a good option to have your child with you or not. As programming consists of long hours, and a lot of physical activity.
In regards to parents, of course! They would be asked to fundraise as well in order to meet their eligible goal.
As soon as you hit your target you are ready to join a trip!
One fundraising goal success equals to One humanitarian trip.
Each country will have it’s own fundraising Targets.
Canada: 7K CAD
United States: 5K USD
United Kingdom: 4K GBP
Europe: 5K EURO
Of course you can, you are able to raise over and over, the more you raise, the more opportunities you have to come with us on various trips.
The team will reach out to you via the information you give in the Sign Up form. You will be asked to fundraise a specific target, upon your success the team will reach out to you for further discussion and next steps on travel.
You will be in main communications with the travel leads, who will assign you to the next trip and group based off of everyone’s availability. If you cannot make it to one trip, another slot will be available for you.
