WHAT WE DO
Education
OVERVIEW
Brighter Futures
Access to quality education is a human right.
Children deserve to play and grow with their peers and develop strong relationships for the future. In addition to developing their numeracy and literacy skills, schools are often a place where students can access healthcare, nutritious meals, safe drinking water and latrines. In conflict zones, education is essential in ensuring that children have a future, and have adult supervision to protect them from harm.
Our aim is to provide scholarships to deserving students, support teachers, grow parent support networks, provide school supplies and uniforms, and improve school facilities so that children are able to stay in school and stay safe. We support students from all walks of life, regardless of gender or ability, to develop vocational skills, attain higher education, and learn to support themselves and their families.
COVID-19 put 1.6 billion students out of school. While some students resumed school through online learning, others could not afford to. We are meeting the needs of the world’s most vulnerable students by funding access to online learning, resource development, and technology that connects the future leaders of tomorrow to schooling to help them succeed.
