On February 6, 2023, a devastating earthquake struck the border region between Turkey and Syria. The 6.4-magnitude quake killed more than 45,000 people and left many thousands more injured and homeless. In the days since then, the affected areas have been struggling to cope with the aftermath of this tragedy.
